STOP
: Do not use a high pressure water jet sprayer on any area of the
system. High pressure water jets can penetrate even sealed connectors and
introduce water into sensitive electronic areas that will result in system
failures. If using high pressure cleaning on cable areas only, use caution and
keep the spray at least 2 ft. from the cable to avoid any tearing of the outer
cable protective jacket.
The system should be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure a long life. This
can be accomplished by the use of a low-pressure water hose or wet rags.
The electrical connectors should be protected from water as this may damage
them.
The manual level wind should be lubricated with a light oil to ensure easy
motion across the sliding rods.
