INSYS ISDN TA 4.0

Sending Messages via SMS
The INSYS ISDN TA 4.0 can send an SMS to a mobile phone in case of an alarm.
The settings can differ for the different mobile phone providers. Please read up on
the currently valid settings.
The connection type depends on the type of transmission, the provider and the end
terminal. Please note that you can only specify one connection type, which is valid
for all messages of the INSYS ISDN TA 4.0. If you specify "SMS to D2-net", for
example, you can only send SMS to mobile phones in the Vodafone network. If you
enter a service center number manually, it may happen that SMS can only be sent
to certain mobile phone networks with this.
Configuration with HSComm
In order to enable the alarm, check on the "Alarm inputs" tab the
checkmark (Figure 8, page 37, position 8) for the desired alarm input.
Select the mobile phone network in the list field Type of connection
(Figure 8, page 37, position 2).
Alternatively, disable briefly "Alarm input 1/2 active" and enter then the
service center number into the field "Service center number“ (page 37,
Figure 8, position 7). The service center number 090032669005 sends
SMS to all German mobile phone networks (check call blocking of the
phone connection for 0900 numbers if required).
In order to specify a general text (a "collective message"), which
precedes all messages, enter your text into the text field "Collective
message" (Figure 8, page 37, position 6).
In order to specify the individual message for the input, enter the
message text into the text field "Individual message" (Figure 8, page 37,
position 4 for alarm input 1 and position 3 for alarm input 2).
Enter the recipient number with area code (or also with country code)
into the entry field "Recipient number" (Figure 8, page 37, position 5) for
the respective alarm input.
Enter your own phone number (MSN) on the "Modem functions" tab
(Figure 7, page 35, position 13). The entry is without prefix. When
operating at a PABX, you must only enter the extension number.
In order to disable the alarm, uncheck on the "Alarm inputs" tab the
checkmark (Figure 8, page 37, position 8) for the desired alarm input.
