Power Supply Specification Guidelines
This section provides power supply specification guidelines recommended for providing the
specified server platform with stable operating power requirements.
Note
: The power supply data provided in this section is for reference purposes only. It reflects
Intel
®
’s own DC power out requirements for a 550W power supply as used in an Intel
®
designed
4U server platform. The intent of this section is to provide customers with a guide to assist in
defining and/or selecting a power supply for custom server platform designs that utilize the
server boards detailed in this document.

Output Power/Currents
The following tables define the minimum power and current ratings. The power supply must
meet both static and dynamic voltage regulation requirements for all conditions.

Notes:
1. Max combined power for all output shall not exceed 550W.
2. Peak combined power for all outputs shall not exceed 630W for 20 seconds.
3. Max combined power of 12V1, 12V2 and 12V3 shall not exceed 530W.
4. Max combined power on 3.3V and 5V shall not exceed 120W.
