An administrator can select the user name format for the
authentication server.

is available only in the Advanced
Settings in the Administrator Tool. It is unavailable when creating
a user profile from the Intel PROSet/Wireless Create Wireless

to save the profile and add it to the Administrator profiles list.

If a Persistent connection was already established, a Pre-Login/Common
profile is ignored unless the profile is configured with both Pre-logon/Common and
Persistent connection options.

Common profiles are applied through the Group Policy Manager. Common Profile key points are:
