4. Operation
4.1. Recording voicemail messages
In order to leave messages in an extension mailbox, the extension has to have the
feature Call forwarding to voicemail.
By making a call to the extension, a greeting voicemail message will be heard, and
after the beep a message can be recorded.
If there is no audio (mute) for 4 seconds during the recording, the message is ended
and recorded in the voicemail.
Messages which are shorter than 4 seconds will not be recorded in the voicemail.
If the VoiceMail has reached its total recording limit (2 hours), the VoiceMail will emit
4 beeps when you try to leave a message in the mailbox.
4.2. Accessing the voicemail
To access the voice mail from a conventional phone in DTMF mode, dial #87, wait for
the greeting, and dial your password. To access a Smart Terminal, use the
Mail key.
The command:
#87 + voice mail password
Default manufacturing password key:
1234.
Note:
during your first access you will be requested to change the default password.
