CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
3.2.1
Front panel
A)
Main input supply switch and circuit breaker.
B)
Off push button. Pressing this while the unit is running and providing output power will
stop the output power.
C)
This indicator will be illuminated when the unit is stopped and not outputting power.
D)
This indicator will be illuminated when the unit is running and outputting power.
E)
ON push button. Pressing this when the unit is stopped will cause the unit to provide the
output power.
F)
Negative output terminal.
G)
Positive output terminal.
H)
Output protection circuit breakers.
I)
Up/Down push button. Pressing
while the unit is running and providing output power
will cause the output voltage to be increased. Pressing
while the unit is stopped will
cause the display brightness to be increased. Pressing
while the unit is running and
providing output power will cause the output voltage to be reduced. Pressing
while
the unit is stopped will cause the display brightness to be increased.
J)
Voltage indication. While the unit is switched on it will show the voltage present at the
output terminals in 0.1V steps.
K)
When the unit is running and providing output power it will show the number of amps
being provided in 1A steps.
