Adjustable seat height and seat depth
The undercarriage of the AKTIVLINE basic model is height- and depth-adjustable
to meet the needs of the patient. Consult your local dealer, who will certainly be
happy to assist you or put you in contact with the manufacturer, as necessary.
7. Maintenance / Care
The AKTIVLINE basic model is covered with a durable plastic coating. All parts
can be cleaned with soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid using aggressive or
abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the surface of the plastic coating.
Disinfect using any conventional disinfectant typically used for such purposes.
Treat fabrics with a mild detergent.
The AKTIVLINE basic model is mostly maintenance-free. The only item requiring
regular attention is the tire pressure. The tires are equipped with conventional air
valves for this purpose, which make it possible to check the air pressure using
the pressure gauge at your local service station. Do not exceed the maximum
pressure values specified in the Technical Data section.
Note:
In addition to checking the air pressure, you should also periodically check
and see whether any screws or other connections have become loose. Due to the
heavy stresses placed on this care system, you should keep in mind that it may be
necessary to re-tighten some of the screws from time to time. In such cases, as
well as when it becomes necessary to make adjustments to the brakes, consult
your local dealer, who will certainly be happy to assist you or put you in contact
with the manufacturer, as necessary.
In order to ensure the long-term optimal performance of the AKTIVLINE basic
model and to avoid expensive repairs, we recommend having it inspected once
a year. Annual inspections are subject to a charge (covered by your health insur-
ance provider) and are only permitted to be performed by the manufacturer. Ask
about our service and maintenance contract.
