7. Reuse and disposal
Reuse
AKTIVLINE Standard is suitable for reuse. Before it is passed on, all the necessary
cleaning and maintenance activities must be performed. When it is handed over,
make sure it is accompanied by all the documentation necessary for use (includ-
ing these instructions for use). It is a condition that the technical construction
of the wheel chair is not interfered with. If the AKTIVLINE Standard product is
reused, it is important to ensure that all documents required for the utilization (in-
cluding this user manual) are handed over with the AKTIVLINE Standard product.
Disposal
When AKTIVLINE Standard has reached the end of its service life, make inquiries
with your local waste management company about the regulations concerning
disposal and recycling.
8. Inspection
To ensure the optimal function of the AKTIVLINE Standard over a long period of
time, and to avoid costly repairs, we recommend a cycle of annual inspections.
The cost of the annual inspection is covered by your health care organization and
should only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Ask your authorized dealer about our service and maintenance contract.
