Pod 2 Ring Detect Ċ
Indicates a System Resume from the Ring Indicator
associated with POD2 after a system suspend has occurred. The APM driver
must update the time from the realĆtime clock when it receives this notification
and notify APMĆaware applications of the event. The applications are then
responsible for preparing devices for use.
External Ring Detect Ċ
Indicates that a System Resume from the ring indicator
associated with an external MODEM after a system suspend has occurred. The
APM driver must update the time from the realĆtime clock when it receives this
notification and notify APMĆaware applications of the event. The applications
are then responsible for preparing devices for use.
PC Card Ring Detect Ċ
Indicates that a System Resume from the ring indicator
associated with a PC Card after a system suspend has occurred. The APM
driver must update the time from the realĆtime clock when it receives this
notification and notify APMĆaware applications of the event. The applications
are then responsible for preparing devices for use.
RealĆTime Clock Alarm Ċ
Indicates that a System Resume from the alarm
associated with the realĆtime clock after a System Suspend has occurred. The
APM driver must update the time from the realĆtime clock when it receives this
notification and notify APMĆaware applications of the event. The applications
are then responsible for preparing devices for use.
Backup Battery Low Ċ
Indicates the backup battery is low. The APM driver
must broadcast this event to all APMĆaware applications.
Charge Tick Event Ċ
Performs battery conditioning. The APM driver must
broadcast this event to all APMĆaware applications.
Backlight On Ċ
Tells the APM driver that the backlight is turned on. The APM
driver is responsible for processing the event.
Battery Change Detected Ċ
Tells the APM driver that a battery change is
detected. The APM driver must broadcast this message to APMĆaware
applications.
Powerfail Detect Ċ
Never sent to the APM driver. APM BIOS removes power
from all devices and shuts down the system unconditionally. On power
restoration, the APM BIOS issues a Critical Resume System Notification that
the APM driver must broadcast to APMĆaware applications.
