LRC (Longitudinal Redundancy Check)
Purpose:
The Longitudinal Redundancy Check (LRC) character is an error-checking
character that you can append to transmitted and received blocks of data.
Note:
Before you can enable LRC, you must configure the EOM command.
Syntax:

Acceptable values for data are:
0
LRC disabled
1
LRC enabled
Default:
Disabled
Scan:
One of these bar codes:
Disable LRC
Enable LRC
*$+IF0*
*$+IF1*
*$+IF0*
*$+IF1*
Example
:
im_command (“$+IF1”,5);
will enable LRC on serial communication.
