4.4 Procedure
To complete the fuel system installation:
1
Install an inline fuel filter. The optimal location is on a wall
near the Hurricane
®
Chinook, inline between the fuel tank
and the Hurricane
®
Chinook.

Connect the fuel supply line to the dedicated fuel pick-up
fitting on the main fuel tank.

Connect the fuel return line to the fuel return fitting on the
main fuel tank.
NOTICE
The fuel return line from the heater may be connected to
a common return line. Make sure when connecting the
heater to a common fuel return line, the operation of
other equipment connected to the same line is not
affected.

Inspect the supply fuel line for any loose connections or
damage. Fittings must be airtight.

If desired, install a shut-off valve on the tank side of the
fuel filter to allow shutdown and filter service.
