Inserting the battery modules
Panels are pre-installed on the system prior to delivery. The panels are secured with two
screws. The panels must be removed before inserting the battery modules.
•
Remove the screws and remove the panels.
•
Place the panels to one side for subsequent working steps.
•
Take care not to contaminate the panels.
•
Make sure that the assembly area is free from trip hazards.
WARNING
Risk of injury
There is a risk of crushing and collision when inserting the battery modules.
•
Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE_
(protective work clothing, protective gloves, safety boots and a
safety helmet).
•
Observe the documentation from the supplier.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to incorrect lifting and insertion of the battery
modules
Incorrect lifting and insertion of the battery modules leads to ergonomic
hazards.
Proceed as follows when lifting and carrying the battery modules.
•
Position your body as close to the load as possible and make sure
to stand in front of the load where possible.
•
Position your feet at least hip-width apart.
•
Make sure that your feet are fully and securely in contact with the
floor.
•
Use your legs to lift the load; lift from the legs.
•
Keep your back naturally straight and avoid a hollow back
•
Avoid jerky movements.
•
Avoid twisting your spine.
•
Carry the load as close to your body as possible.
•
Carry loads at the centre of your body or split between the two
sides of your body.
•
Carry any heavy, unwieldy or bulky loads in pairs.
