Safety checks
WARNING
After maintenance operations or repairs, before starting the machine, the system
manager must check that all operations have been completed, that all safety
devices are working properly and that any unauthorised people have been sent
away from the area.
WARNING
Shredders equipped with support frames with mesh gates feature a safety switch
on the gate. Each time the gate is opened to replace the material collection
container, make sure that the machine stops automatically.
EVERY 200 HOURS (in any case once a month)
Check the operation of all the safety devices and/or interlocks on the machine: safety switches, rope
safety switches, emergency buttons, box presence photocells, etc.
Make sure that the activated device stops and blocks the operation of the machine instantaneously.
