Self-propelling wheels (quick release axles)
1 To remove the large rear wheels (1) it is necessary to depress the
button and hold (3) on the quick release axle whilst pulling on the
wheel. The wheel with the axle should part from the chair.
2 Once both wheels have been removed, the chair is now ready for
transporting or storage. (Leave axles in the wheel unless servicing)
Replacing the rear wheels
3 To replace repeat procedure noted above.
Maintenance.
4 Axles should be removed weekly and wiped clean with a soft cloth,
once clean smear axle too lubricant before replacing, this will avoid
sticking.
Transit attendant wheels (12’’ or 31cm)
5 If supplied with transit wheels the same procedure as above
applies.
Warning;
Do not use wheelchair, unless quick release axle button is
fully out when wheels are in place.
