Each chair is supplied with two wheel locks.
To apply wheel locks;
Whilst sitting in the chair push the brake handle (1) forward until the brake locks
against the wheel tyre.
To release wheel locks;
Whilst sitting in the chair pull the brake handle (1) to the rear until the brake
releases from the wheel tyre.
Wheel lock adjustments;
From time to time your wheel locks may need adjusting, this maybe be due to
your tyre tread wearing or tyre inflation.
To adjust take the necessary size allen key and loosen the allen nuts (2) on the
brake clamp (that attaches the brake to the frame). Once lose, adjust brake, re-
tighten once adjusted.
Warning;
Do not use the wheel locks to slow the chair down, apply pressure to the hand rims.
When transferring or when the chair is stationary always apply wheel locks.
