4.0 Hardware and MaTRx Back Installation

To install your Matrx-PB or Matrx PB-Elite back onto the mounting plates:
Step 1:
Slide the lower mounting pins of the back into the hooked slots at the
bottom of each mounting plate (see
Figure 4.0
).
Step 2:
With the lower pins in place, lock/snap the upper mounting pins
into the latch mechanism at the top of the mounting plates.

Repeat step 3 for the opposite mounting clamp

Important!
To ensure proper back installation, both mounting clamps
must be installed at the
same height
on the back canes with the mounting
plates
parallel
with each other.

With the back cushion in place make any final adjustments to the back height (if
necessary) via clamp hardware, ensuring that both clamps are adjusted equally.

With the back height set, fully tighten all clamp assembly hardware to secure the
back into position.
Important!
The mounting pins for the MaTRx back may require adjustment
to ensure the backrest is propely fitted/secured to the wheelchair.; For instructions
on adjusting the mounting pins, please refer to the installation/user manual
provided with your MaTRx Series back.
