Remove lateral seat plates

Remove seat cushion.
10. Loosen and remove screws on both sides, which secure sling
seat

with a T25 Torx wrench.
11. Remove sling seat

12.
Remove seat frame by removing screws (1) with a T40 Torx
wrench.
13.
Disconnect actuator cable and microswitch cable from cable
harness.
14. Loosen and remove screws (2) incl. washers with a 5 mm Allen
key.
15. Lift module of the tilt (1) from the adapter and replace it.
16. Installation takes place in reverse order.
17. To complete, check all seat tilting functions.

Replacing angle sensor
Bora, Kite
Tools:
•
5 mm Allen wrench
•
Phillips screwdriver
Removing angle sensor
1.
Remove plug (3) from sensor (1).
2.
Open cover of sensor box by loosening and removing both
Phillips screws (4).
3.
Loosen two Allen screws (5) and remove sensor (1) from
mounting plate (2).
4.
Replace angle sensor.
Installing angle sensor
1.
Install parts in reverse order.

Replacing recline actuator
Tools:
•
8 mm Allen key
•
Open-ended spanner, 10 mm
•
Open-ended spanner, 13 mm
Remove recline actuator
1.
Pull cable off directly where it is connected to actuator (2).
2.
Detach bracket from actuator at top and bottom; to do this,
slide bolts (4) to the side using the lever (5) and tilt the actuator
(2) out of backrest clamp (3).
3.
Replace actuator.
To increase the angle of the backrest, you can remove
the adapter (1). See 4.10.8 Replacing recline actuator,
page 22.
Install recline actuator
1.
Install parts in reverse order.
