Display & Sound problems
Screen freezes or no response.
z
Soft reset your device by pressing Reset button with the Stylus.
My device doesn’t make any sound.
z
Check the Sounds settings by tapping Start > Settings > Personal tab >Sound &
Notifications; the speaker may be muted.
z
Tap the speaker icon on the top right of the screen or push the volume control key on the
side of the device to adjust the volume.
What type of extension files can set up for Ring tones?
z
Your device supports *.wav, *wma, *.mid (type ), *.mp3 audio format as ring tones.
My device’s sound can not be heard from the headset.

Make sure the jack is clean and free from foreign particle.
z
Re-insert the headset plug into the Audio Jack and then unplug it may help sometimes.

Make sure the headset is supplied with the device.
Connection & Bluetooth problems
I can not connect to the internet; Web surfing doesn’t work.

Check that you have set up and connected to an Internet Service Provider.

Check that the wireless connection to your mobile Service Provider is switched on, and
that the signal is unobstructed.

Verify with your Internet Service Provider that your APN user name and password are
correct.
Unable to use Infrared (IR) to transfer information.

Align the infrared port on your device with the infrared port on your PC so that they are
unobstructed and within close range.
z
Transfer only one file, or no more than 25 contact cards, at a time.
z
Adjust the room lighting. Some types of light interfere with IR connections. Try moving to
a different location or turning off some lights. Do not try to use infrared beaming in the
sunlight.
