The completion set is installed on the inside after completion of the conversion or new build.

Wall sleeves are inserted in the wall openings and aligned at a gradient with a lush inish on
the inside and outside of the wall. A modern wall consists of several vertical layers that are
cut through when the wall opening is inserted. This structure must be recreated up to the wall
sleeve. A similar situation occurs when installing windows and doors, as the installation must
be RAL-compliant

ventilation units. In addition to the load-bearing and insulating characteristics of the
walls there are also speciied and deined sealing layers:
Water vapour barrier
The water vapour barrier is usually located inside the room and prevents water vapour from
penetrating the wall from the living area. The water vapour can cause condensation on cold
areas of the wall thus generating thermal bridges.
rain barrier
The rain barrier is water tight and stops rain of up to a certain pressure. This barrier is located on
the outside. It is water vapour permeable to remove any humidity from the wall and ensure that
the wall remains suficiently dry in the long-term.
Wind barrier
Multi-layered walls often have special wind barriers that are implemented using ilm systems.
The water vapour barriers often also perform this function.
