Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do
as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove
all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic
bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. check the
appliance after unpacking for any damage, possible from
transportation.
Before the first use the scale must be initialised. this
must be done every time you use the scale on a different
spot or when the batteries are replaced.
place the scale on a flat and stable surface. With your
foot press on the middle of the glass surface. the full
display will show and when it shows
“0.0”
the scale is

the correct measuring unit(kg/lb).

place the scale on a flat and stable surface and wait for
the scale to turn itself off.
Stand directly on the scale to weigh yourself. as
soon as the result blinks and then stops blinking, the
measurement is done.
the scale will turn itself off after about 5 seconds.
If you wish to weigh yourself again, please wait 5 seconds
before standing on the scale.
important:
always use the scale on a flat and stable
surface, never on a rug or carpet.
the maximum weighing capacity of the scale is 180 kg.

tiP:
if the indicator doesn’t automatically go back to
zero, please remove the batteries and then re-insert
them. Initialise the scale the same as for first use.
3 | bEforE first UsE
the scale has an reminder-function. press the 24h/alarm
on the back of the scale. It will beep at the same time
the next day reminding you to measure weight. On the
display it will show the icon . When it beeps, just step
on the scale to stop the beep sound. If you do not step on
scale when beeping, the beep sound will automatically
shut off after about 20 seconds. to turn the alarm off,
press the 24h/alarm button again.
When
Lo
appears in the display, the batteries are almost
empty. remove the lids of the battery compartments
from the back of the scale and place new batteries - 3 x
aaa-1,5 volt. check the polarities of the batteries before
placing.
Wipe the scale only with a damp cloth to
clean.
never immerse the scale in water
or any other liquids.
Handle the scale with
care, protect the scale from impact with hard object and
do not drop it.
never use any abrasives!
