Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do 

as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove 

all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic 

bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. check after 

unpacking the appliance for any damage, possible from 

transportation. Wipe the outside of the kitchenscale only 

with a damp cloth. put the appliance on a flat and stable 

surface.

scale on by pressing the «On/Off/tara» button and wait 

till «0 g» appears on the display. the kitchenscale is now 

ready for weighing. place the item to be weighted directly 

on the scale. the weight thereof is displayed immediately. 

the scale can accept a maximum load of 5 kg (5000 grams). 

the weight measurement is displayed in 1 g divisions. 

and the scale has a "tarra" adding function. remove the 

"overweight" when «E - - -» appears in the display. nOtE:

• children should be supervised to ensure that they do not 

play with the appliance.

unless they have been given supervision or instruction
