1.  General: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check brush head 

 

 

 

 

 

Check position and condition of brushes 

 

 

 

 

 

Check the brush head is horizontal and flat when in the 

operating position 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check clean water tank and dirty water tank for leaks 

 

 

 

 

 

Check that switches are working and lights are not blown. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check BEM (hour counter) 

 

 

 

 

 

Dismount and clean the vacuum motor 

 

 

 

 

 

Check the vacuum motor is working properly 

 

 

 

 

 

Check the squeegee blades 

 

 

 

 

 

Check the squeegee is in the correct position on the floor when 
suction is on 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dismount suction hoses and clean 

 

 

 

 

 

Check the drive motor gearbox for leaks (

if there are leaks      

please call the Gansow Service immediately

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check tyres for the presence of foreign matter or wear

Check the carbon brushes of the traction motor

Check whether the motor cables are damaged or loose 

 

 

 

 

     Check whether the drive pedal is moving smoothly (without play)   

 

 

 

4.  Dirty water tank 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clean electrodes 

 

 

 

 

 

Check outlet hose for damage  

 

 

 

 

 

Check suction pipes and hoses for blockages
