PORT CONNECTIVITY
The 9-pin female connector at the rear of the dispenser is an Input/Output port (I/O) allowing the
communication with optional devices such as the AMD-1, an Automatic Carton Measuring Device.
• On standard models, this I/O port is active for use with pedal foot switches or other similar devices
which use the “contact closure” method of sending a signal.
• On automatic models, this I/O port also provides access to the dispenser’s RS-232C serial data port.
Pedal foot switches or other “contact closure” devices may still be used on automatic models.
CONNECTOR CONFIGURATIONS
Both standard and automatic models are equipped with 9-pin female D-type connectors.
