6.  BATTERY AND SAFETY

 

The CABIN is supplied with a quick-change IBP-2 Li-Ion battery 

pack which enables the device to be used for up to 6+ hours. The 

battery should be fully charged before the first use. 
Charging the battery with USB-C Port 

Install the Battery Pack into the Battery Compartment. For details, 
see Battery Pack Installation.

Connect the USB-C end 

(18) of the Data Cable to the USB-C port 

(4) of the Product.

Connect the USB end of the Data Cable to a USB Power Socket 
or power pack with an output voltage not exceeding 5V.

After the battery is fully charged, remove the Battery Pack from 
the Battery Charger.

      Note: The IBC-2 Battery Charger can charge two IBP-2 Battery 
Packs at the same time.
Battery Pack Installation  

Open the Puller on the Battery Pack 

(14) and align the Orange 

Line on the Battery Pack 

(D) with the Orange Line on the Battery 

Slot 

(C) and push the Battery Pack (13) into the Battery Slot (21).

When the Battery Pack is completely inserted into the Battery 
Slot turn the Puller 

(14) clockwise to lock the Battery Pack.

Close the Puller 

(14) and the Battery Pack is completely installed.

Safety Measures
Use only the IBC-2 Battery Charger to charge the IBP-2 Battery 

Pack. Any other use will cause irreparable damage to the Battery 

Charger or Battery Pack and or cause a fire.

IMPORTANT: Before any length of storage, the Battery Pack  

should be partially charged - not fully charged or discharged.

Do not charge the battery immediately after you bring it from a  

cold area to a warm area. Wait 30 to 40 minutes for the battery  

to warm up.
Do not use the charger if it is modified or damaged.
The device should be charged at a temperature of 32°F to 115°F, 

otherwise the battery life will be significantly reduced.
When charging, don’t leave the battery or charger unattended.
Do not expose the battery to high temperature or open flame.
Do not immerse the battery in water.
The IBC-2 Battery Pack has short circuit protection, but situations 

that may lead to short circuits should be avoided.
Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours after it is fully charged.
Do not drop, attempt to disassemble or modify the IBC-2 Battery Pack.
The intended operating temp of the battery is -4°F to 122°F, It 

should not be used beyond this range as it may shorten the life of 

the battery.
When the device is used in sub-zero temperature the battery 

capacity will drop, this is normal and does not indicate a defect.
Keep the battery pack out of the reach of children.

Charging the battery with the IBC-2 Power Adapter

Align the Positioning Block 
of the Battery Pack

Connect the USB-C end of 
the USB Cable

USB-C port of the Battery

Connect the USB end of the 
USB Cable 

(18) to a USB 

adapter or power bank to 
charge the Battery Pack.

The LED Indicator on the 
Battery Holder (

17) will now 

light up or blink:
