Maintenance 

Maintain your tool. It is recommended that the general condition of any tool be examined before it is 
used. Keep your tool in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in 
accordance with recommended procedures. 

 

 

Before inspection, always unplug the pump from power and allow it to cool. 

 

Keep the pump dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.  

 

Use only identical replacement parts.  

 
In ordinary conditions, the pump does not require any maintenance.It may be necessary, however, to 
clean the pump housingor replace the impeller or bearings. Service should always be by an 
authorized technician (for good service and to avoid voiding the warranty). 

Cord Replacement Wiring Instructions

 

If the cord provided with the pump becomes damaged or fails, use the procedure below to replace it. 

WARNING: Make sure cord set is not plugged into an outlet during initial set-up and wiring. 

1.  Prepare a three core electric cord set with 

grounded, 3-prong plug. 

2.  Loosen the screws on the electrical box on 

the top of the pump. 

3.  Inside the box is a short electric cord is 

already in place. Take out the cord and 
install a new electric cord (not included). 

4.  Loosen the ground screw in the box 

marked 

with “

” and fasten the ground 

wire on the cord to it. 

5.  Replace the box cover and screw it tight.
