4.1  The function step and time (STEP/TIME)

In this mode, you can see the total number of steps measured

since the last reset and the time (quartz watch).

The steps displayed can be reset to zero manually in this

display. For this purpose, press and hold the key ‘UP/CLR’ for

approx. 3 seconds. The distance such as kcal and the DAYCAL

(daily calorie counter) are thus also reset to zero at the same

time.

The pedometer can add and display up to 99,999 steps.

  Please note:

-   Some information (distance, kcal, kcal target) require the

input of your personal details (step length and weight). Set

these as described here.

-

Setting of the time and personal details

Please press the key SET briefly. As soon as the 12-hour or

24-hour display flashes, you can set it with the keys UP or

DOWN (quick change of the setting: hold the UP or DOWN

key pressed).

With the SET key, you move to the next setting according to

the following sequence:

  12/24-hour > Hours >Minutes > Your step length in cm >

Your weight in kg (10 – 150kg can be set)

After the last setting in the sequence, the setting is completed

and you will reach the step and time display again.

Measuring step length

To determine your step length, proceed as follows:

Walk 10 steps like you normally would, then measure the

distance covered and divide it by ten. Example: You measure

6.2 metres.  6.2 m / 10 = 0.62 m (input step length: 62 cm).

4.2 The function distance and stopwatch (DIST/STW)

The distance is calculated via the number of steps and the

step length entered and displayed in 0.00 km. The smallest

distance displayed is thus 10 metres.

Resetting to zero in the STEP/TIME mode (see Chapter 4.1).

The stopwatch measures your time up to a maximum of 23

hours 59 minutes.

  The resolution is 1/100 second.

The key functions in this display are:

  SET

:  Starting/Stopping the stopwatch

UP/CLR  :  Resetting of the stopwatch to zero

(only works if the stopwatch has been stopped)

MODE     :  Continue in another function (the stopwatch can

continue to run in the background)
