The safety data for the resistance sensors, the thermocouples and the external
reference junction must be determined separately. Resistance temperature detectors or
resistance teletransmitters can be connected in any constellation of 2, 3 and 4
conductors. A mixture of resistance sensors and thermocouples inside the same
channel is also possible. The external reference junction may only be connected to
channels 6 and 7.
