5. Precautions 

 

1.  Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the unit. 
2.  The use of this unit must be in accordance with the specifications in this manual. 
3.  Do not use in flammable and explosive environments. 
4.  Ensure all doors and windows are closed during use. 
5.  The unit should be turned off and mains power disconnected for cleaning and 

 

maintenance. 

6.  It is strictly forbidden to cover or block the air inlet and outlet of the unit. 
7.  Do  not  insert  anything  into  the  front  of  the  unit through the  air  inlet  vent. This  may 

 

cause damage to the fan and can result in electric shock. 

8.   Avoid direct contact with liquid whilst operating. 
9.  When  repairing  or  cleaning,  ensured  the  power  is  turned  off  to  prevent  ultraviolet 

 

rays damaging the skin and eyes. 

10. The ultraviolet germicidal lamp should be replaced after 5000 hours of use.

UV lamp not working 

1. The ballast of UV germicidal lamp may be damaged 

 

 

2. The UV germicidal lamp may be burnt out 

 
 

 

 

1. The fan motor may be burnt out 

Fan not working 

 

2. The motor capacitor may be burnt out 

but power on 

 

 

3. Check no foreign objects obstructing fan
