7. Maintenance 

 

1.  Should the ultraviolet germicidal lamp intensity reduce or start to flicker the lamps will 

need replacing. 

2.  If the unit will not be used over a long period of time, unplug the power lead and 

protect from dust and contamination. 

 

3.  The unit should be cleaned with general purpose bacterial surface cleaner. 

 

8. Replacing UV Bulbs 

 

1.  Loosen the screws around unit and remove the outer casing 

2.  Remove the wire tie at the top of the UV bulb 

3.  Gently pull the old bulb upwards and out of the enclosure 

4.  Replace with new bulb and secure with the wire tie at the top 

5.  Replace the outer casing and secure with screws 

 
 

Note: discarded UV bulbs should be safely disposed of in accordance with waste disposal 

guidelines.

 
 

9. Warranty and repair 

 

1.  This UV air steriliser is supplied with a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase.

10. Transportation and storage 

 

Move the unit gently especially on uneven surfaces. The unit should be stored in a dry, 

well-ventilated, non-corrosive environment, and should not be stacked.
