3.1 Distinguishing features of the device variants
The MaxiFil is manufactured in two versions.

MaxiFil IFA

MaxiFil
The standard version of MaxiFil is IFA tested.
This means that the MaxiFil meets the requirements as stated by IFA (Institute for
Occupational Safety of the German Social Accident Insurance) and that these test
specifications are fulfilled.
For simplification, this is highlighted in the operating instructions with
an IFA-information logo.
The IFA information logo refers to important information and notes, which are related
to the MaxiFil IFA.

The prototype meets the
requirements and test standards of
the IFA.
MaxiFil
The MaxiFil IFA is marked on the device with the DGUV-test symbol as well as the
W3 label (label for the welding fumes class) using a sticker.
The position of these stickers can be found in chapter 3.4 (Notes and signs on
MaxiFil).
The exact device variant can be identified using these stickers as well as the note
“IFA” on the name plate.
