Basic System Setup
Choosing a Location for your System
Setting up a wireless audio system allows you much more fl exibility than with conventional wired
speakers. Wireless speakers may be placed anywhere within the room, or in another room within 100
feet of the wireless main unit. Since there is no physical connection between the system components,
feel free to be creative with your system layout. iSymphony wireless systems are also wall-mountable
for additional fl exibility.
•
The wireless audio system will automatically seek a clear channel if any of these other devices
interfere with its communication. When this happens the “Link” indicator fl ashes on the speakers
(refer to page 12) and there is a brief interruption in the audio coming from the speakers. This
is the normal operation of the product working to assure the best possible performance of your
wireless audio system. If the interference persists, try moving the other devices to another
location, or move the wireless main unit or wireless speakers farther from the interfering devices.
NOTE:
• Do not place the wireless main unit in a metal cabinet or bookshelf.
• Depending on your wall thickness and material, the operating range may be reduced.
