UNPACKING THE BICYCLE
Having removed the packing and before
using the vehicle, check the mechanical
integrity of the bicycle and its accessori-
es. The sheath and plug of the battery
charger’s power cable must not show
signs of scraping or cracks.
If there are signs, do not try to utilise the
battery charger. Immediately remove the
plug from the wall socket and take it to
the nearest authorised technical assi-
stance centre for
the necessary checks.
The packing material (plastic bags, ex-
panded polystyrene, nails, etc.) must not
be left in the reach of children as they
are sources of potential danger.
ATTENTION:
This equipment must be utilised only for
the purpose for which it was expressly
designed for. Any other use is to be con-
sidered improper and therefore
dangerous. The manufacturer will not be
considered responsible for any damage
coming from improper, erroneous and
unreasonable use.
ASSEMBLY OF THE HANDLE-
BARS
NOTE:
Before assembling the handlebars,
check that the starter key of the battery
is in the OFF position.
•
Position the handlebars as indi-
cated in the gure and assemble
the semi-support (A) utilising the 2
screws (B).
•
Tighten the 2 screws.
ASSEMBLY OF THE PEDALS
Whilst assembling the pedals, check
their threading.
The left pedal has left-hand threading
therefore it must screwed into place in a
clockwise direction.
The right pedal has right-hand threading
therefore it must be screwed into place
in an anticlockwise direction.
On the pedals, near to the spindle is the
corresponding abbreviation:
(L) for the left side and (R) for the right
side.
Tighten the pedals using an SW 15
spanner in correspondence to the seat
(C).
