Operation CLFB (Closed Loop FeedBack):
If the CM Tiny is in CLFB mode, the desired web voltage must be set with the parameter
"Setpoint web voltage". When using CLFB mode, the CM Tiny must be connected to a Sensor
IQ Easy (Web voltage 6.3.6). The IQ Easy sensor will measure the web voltage and the
generator will constantly adjust the output voltage to achieve the desired web voltage. The
maximum output voltage of the generator can be set with the parameter "Output voltage limit".
6.3.3 Continuous and Remote mode
The CM Tiny IQ is by default in Continuous mode (Figure 10). When the generator is in
Continuous mode, the high voltage on the output will be active if the following conditions are
met:
- The generator must be on "Run"
- a setpoint must be given.
When the CM Tiny IQ is in Remote mode, the following conditions must be met in order to
activate the high voltage at the output of the generator:
- The generator must be on "Run"
- a setpoint must be given
- A "Remote On" signal must be given to the IQ Easy I / O connector on the I / O connector.
For more information on the "Remote On / Off" signal, read the manual of the Manager IQ Easy.
6.3.4 Setpoint threshold (Remote mode only, VC mode)
Setpoint threshold parameter (Figs. 9 and 14) serves to set the desired output voltage when the
remote is in the OFF position. This allows you to switch between two setpoints using the
Remote On / Off input signal. By default, "Setpoint threshold" is set to 0 kV (= no output voltage
at Remote Off).
The parameter "Charge pulse max time" is a "Warning” setting. When the high voltage at the
output of the CM Tiny IQ is active longer than the set value of "Charge pulse max time", a
warning will be displayed on the screen of the Manager IQ Easy. By default, the "Charge pulse
max time" is set to 0.00 Sec (= not active).
Image 14, operation Setpoint threshold.
6.3.5 Charge puls min / max time (Remote mode only)
Parameter "Charge Pulse Min Time" (Figure 10) ensures that the high voltage on the generator
output is a minimum (set) time after receiving the "Remote On" signal. When the "Remote On"
signal is longer than the set time for "Charge Pulse Min Time", the "Remote On" signal is
leading, the high voltage then follows the "Remote On" signal. By default, the "Charge Pulse
Min Time" is 0.00 Sec (= Inactive).
