6. Installation
Warning:
- Electrical installation must only be carried out by a skilled electrical engineer.
- The
Clean
ION
must be properly earthed. Earthing is needed to ensure proper operation of
the equipment and to avoid electrical shocks upon contact.
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out work on the unit.
6.1. Checks

Check that the Clean
ION
is undamaged and that you have received the correct version.
- Check that the details on the packing slip correspond to the details of the product received.
- Check that the voltage on the rating plate corresponds with the (mains) voltage that you are using.
If you have any problems and/or in the case of ambiguity, please contact SIMCO (Nederland) B.V. or
the agent in your region.
6.2. Installing the CleanION
Place the Clean
ION
in the desired position, close to the air line and connection cables for the ionisation
equipment. The surface must be stable and even. Position the dust collector so that the on/off switches
on the switchbox are easily accessible and the cover and filter can be removed easily.
The Clean
ION
can also be switched on and off via the machine to which the cleaning equipment is fitted.
