First Use

•   Unpack, identify all parts and clean as follows:

  -   Remove the pitcher from the power base. Separate the lid and the silicon ring from the pitcher. Do not immerse the

pitcher or the base in water.

  -   Pitcher: Rinse and clean the inner surface using warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth or brush; wipe dry with

a soft cloth.

  -   Lid: Separate the lid and the silicon ring from the pitcher, then wash in hot soapy water.

  -   Body: Clean with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or anything that could scratch the stainless steel

surface such as metal pads.

  -   Whisks: Remove from the pitcher and hand wash with warm water - do not place in the dishwasher.

Regular Use

•   Prior to plugging in the unit, select desired whisk and secure it on the spindle in the base of the pitcher.
•   Plug the unit in.
•   Add milk (do not exceed the marks in the pitcher).
•   Push the upper button for heating and hot frothing; push the lower button for cold frothing.
•   The indicator light comes on. When processing is complete, the light flashes for 30 seconds.
•   If the indicator light keeps flashing for more than 30 seconds after the unit stops, or the unit stops too soon, there is
too much milk in the pitcher. Pour some out, wait two minutes for the thermostat to reset, and try again.
•   To use again in a hot setting, wait two minutes for the thermostat to reset, or rinse the pitcher in cold water and wipe dry.

Settings

•   Press the upper button to begin heating or heating with frothing.
•   Press the lower button to begin frothing without heating.

Tips

•   Coordinate heating or frothing preparation with preparation of the beverage you are making so both are done at the
 same

time.

•   Use whole milk for best results.
•   You can froth cold milk with this appliance, but the frother does not cool milk.
•   The frother heats milk to approximately 150°F.
•   For storage, keep the whisks in the pitcher.
•   Allow two minutes between consecutive hot uses for the thermostat to reset. To shorten this time, rinse the pitcher
  with water and wipe dry.
•   Additives such as flavorings, coffee powder, chocolate powder and syrup tend to adhere to the pitcher; clean
  immediately and thoroughly after using.
