Installation Option B: Starting from the
doorway
Trim the edges as indicated
Expansion gaps along the perimeter and
fixed objects: min 3/8 inches (8 mm).
You can go both directions but we
recommend to go from left to right.
Tongue facing the wall. Start installing the
first row by clicking the end joints together
(follow your specific click system guidelines).
Spacers must be placed at least every 20“ (50 cm).
Adjoining rows: joint separation must be
at least 10” (25 cm).
To click the planks together: angle the
adjoining row along the length. This by
angeling the tongue of plank 5 into the
groove of the adjoining row. Tongue plank
5 must face the previously installed row.
Black plastic insert must sit in place. Then
rotate downwards as indicated with the arrow.
Click the end joints together bij pushing
downwards the end joint on the left edge
(of plank 5) till you hear a click or snap.
Repeat step 27, 28 and 29 for the rest of the room
End cut piece (step 15):
End cut piece at the end of the row
(4a): min 10” (25 cm).
Use the remaining cut piece (4b) to start the
adjoining row.

Last row: cut the plank along the length,
leaving room for the expansion gap, which
is 3/8 inch (8 mm)

Remove the spacers.
Install baseboard and/or quarter rounds
to cover the expansion joints along the
perimeter. DO NOT nail down or adhere
the baseboard nor quarter round to the
laminate floor. Instead, nail or adhere
directly to the wall. To allow expansion,
do not install baseboard too tight to
laminate.
