MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
ATTENTION! Before any work on the
device itself, turn off the machine,
disconnect it from the mains supply,
disconnect the gas hose from the gas
cylinder and let the equipment cool
down.
∙
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if
present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of
the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life
of your tool.
∙
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair should
be carried out by an authorized IVT customer service.
∙
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the
tool is in safe working condition.
∙
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
∙
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
∙
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and
away from any flammable material.
∙
Never wet the device or spray water on it!
∙
Keep the equipment free of dust as well as free
from any type of deposits.
∙
Air inlet and outlet grilles must be cleaned at regular
intervals.
∙
The heater can be cleaned with all standard, non-
abrasive and non-flammable liquid cleaning agents. The
equipment must be switched off and sufficiently cool
before cleaning.
ATTENTION! Do not clean the
equipment with pressurized water
(spraying with a water hose, steam jet
or a high-pressure cleaner).
∙
Check the power cable at regular intervals for signs
of defects or damage.
∙
Remove the pressure regulator with gas hose and
check the gasket for damage.
∙
We recommend that the pressure regulator be
replaced after five years, as rubber gaskets and
diaphragms can become porous.
∙
Check the gas hose before every use and every
time you change the liquid gas cylinder. If the hose lines
show any signs of becoming brittle or other damage,
you must replace them with new hoses of the same
length and quality.
∙
The valves on the liquid gas cylinder must have
valve safely cap and locking nut.
∙
The equipment, hose lines and pressure regulator
should be subjected to a maintenance inspection by a
specialized dealer every year. Any defective parts must
be replaced during this process.
∙
Never store the liquid gas cylinder inside the house,
under ground or in non-ventilated areas! Gas cylinder
must be stored upright, even if they are empty.
ATTENTION! After completing any
maintenance and repair work you
must carry out a function check of the
equipment, checking all gas supply
connections for leaks.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing as waste.
Tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for
environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling. These instructions are printed on recycled
paper manufactured without chlorine.
