Switching off:
Press and release on/off switch (3) again. Locking
button (5) can be unlocked at once.
Stepless speed control
The machine runs with variable speed
between 0 and a maximum depending
on the pressure applied to the on/off
switch (3).
• Light pressure on the On/Off switch (3) results in
a low rotational speed.
• Bigger force in pressing the On/Off switch (3) will
increase the drilling rate.
Speed selection
ATTENTION! Select the rate in advance.

The rotational speed can be selected in advance
by regulating the variable speed thumbwheel (4)
(fig.2).
• Regulate the variable speed thumbwheel (4)
toward the direction “+” to increase the rotational
speed.
• Regulate the variable speed thumbwheel (4)
toward the direction “-“, to decrease the speed.
The required speed is dependent on the material
and can be determined with practical trials.
Changing the rotational direction
ATTENTION! Operate the rotational direction
switch (2) only at a standstill.
With the rotational direction switch (2), the rotational
direction of the machine can be switched.
• Put the rotational direction switch (2) toward
the locking button (5) and the drill rotates in anti-
clockwise direction.
• Otherwise, it rotates in clockwise direction.
Manteinance and storage
Before carrying out any maintenance
operation, turn off the electric power
supply by disconnecting the plug from
the extension cable.
• Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if
present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance
of the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong
the life of your tool.
• If the tool should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair
should be carried out by an authorized IVT customer
service.
• Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure
the tool is in safe working condition.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
• Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible
injury.
• Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids
and away from any flammable material.
• Never wet the device or spray water on it!
• Make sure that foreign bodies do not penetrate
into the chuck.
