ammonia and household detergents that contain
ammonia. If the machine should fail despite the
rigorous manufacturing and testing procedures,
repair should be carried out by an authorized
customer service station or service center for the
tool.
Carbon brushes
The brushes and commutator in your tool have
•
been engineered for many hours of dependable
service. To maintain peak efficiency of the motor,
we recommend to examine the brushes every two
to six months.
Only genuine replacement brushes specially
•
designed for your tool should be used.
When the resin insulating tip inside the carbon
•
brush is exposed to contact the commutator, it will
automatically shut off the motor. When this occurs,
both carbon brushes should be replaced. Keep the
carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.
Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the
•
same time. Use only identical carbon brushes.
Bearings
After about 100-120 hours of operation or at
•
every second brush change, the bearings should
be replaced by an authorized Service Station or
Service Center. Bearings which become noisy (due
to heavy load or very abrasive metal cutting) should
be replaced at once to avoid overheating or motor
failure
WARNING: Always keep the machine
clean. Should the machine fail despite
the rigorous manufacturing and testing
procedures, repair should be carried out by an
authorized customer services center of IVT power
tools.
Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing as waste.
Machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine.
