Action
1.
Systematically replace the closing seals each time the acoustic transponder is opened.
Seal reference: R50-DF801 LJF.
2.
Thoroughly clean the seal housings and grease them with silicone grease.
3.
Coat the O-ring seals with silicone grease.
4.
Place the tube horizontally.
5.
Insert the internal structure-lower end cap assembly through the lower opening of the
tube (marked by the identification label).
6.
Install the equipped upper end cap on the upper face of the transducer and connect the
transducer-card link connector.
7.
Press down lightly on the upper end cap (but in no case the transducer's cap) to insert
the screw in the closing nut.
8.
Line up the upper and lower end caps.
9.
Screw the closing nut with a size 10 Allen key, set the torque to 60 Nm.
10.
Refer to the User Manuel of the release hook mounted on the RT8x1 transponder to
complete eventually the final assembly of the RT8x1 release hook.
