Part 1 – Transmit and Receive settings of the TT801
Step
Action
1.
Place the acoustic head of the remote control unit TT801 transponder close to the
Transponder’s acoustic head.
2.
Refer to TT801 User Manual and individual data sheet of the acoustic transponder and
follow the
FSK Transmission
procedure described in TT801 User Manual.
3.
Switch ON the remote control unit. The main menu is posted up.
4.
Press
1
on key panel to enter ‘Transmit / Receive Settings’ menu.
5.
Use ‘ENTER’ button to validate data and
SCROLL
button to change parameters.
6.
Then press
1
to access the
Immediate Transmit
menu.
7.
According to individual data sheet of the device, select type of device (
RT8xx
), then the
type of transmission (generally
ARM + CMD
).
8.
Press on key panel the ARM code of the device to be tested (check on the label stuck on
the transponder or the individual data sheet) and validate it as ARM code.
9.
Press on key panel the CMD code selected of the device to be tested (check on the label
stuck on the unit or the individual data sheet) and validate it as CMD code
10.
Select the Command type (Release, Release with Pinger, Pinger ON, Diagnostic or
Other CMD) and confirm.
Menu for Receive Settings opens automatically

11.
Set CAF (Acknowledgement Frequency) and PFR (Pinger Frequency) in accordance
with settings of the Acoustic Transponder to be tested.
12.
Then, Select
Distance
or
Elapsed time
with
Scroll
button for Ranging type depending
on the mode to be displayed during operations.
The Transmit and Receive Display opens once step 12 is completed.
