The MMI BALI communicates with a transponder through a serial port. The transmission
rate is 4 800 Bauds (it cannot be modified by the operator).
Open RT8X1 unit as described in section 6.1 and connect RT8X1 PCB with 930 0142
cable to PC computer as shown hereafter:

Port mapping is defined through the dialog box opened by means of the “Control System
Communication Ports” command, or through the
F6
function key. Default mapping is
COM1.
