Management Workstation
You need a management workstation (such as a laptop computer) to perform the initial system configuration. The workstation requires:

An RJ-45 10/100/1000 Ethernet port.

Terminal emulation software that supports SSH and/or serial connections (PuTTY is a recommended open source option). Configure the ter-
minal software as follows:

Use UTF-8 character set with VT100 terminal (HyperTerminal, PuTTY, TeraTerm, or equivalent).

Select the corresponding COM port number for your serial port (for example, COM1).
