To configure the various parameters according to the built sheet of the instrument to
command, perform the following procedure:
Step Action
1.
Select (key-in) the Device ID number (
IDENT
). For entry correction you can use the
CLEAR
key. Then press
ENTER
key to confirm.
2.
Select the type (
TYPE
) of the instrument to be actuated (All AR6xx or some RT6xx)
using
SCROLL
key and confirm the selection by pressing
ENTER
key.
3.
Select the type of transmission (
TRANSMIT TYPE
), according to individual built sheet of
the beacon:
•
With AR6xx no other choice than
CMD ONLY
.
•
With RT6xx, if function is to be activated by a single direct word sequence, select
CMD ONLY
by using
SCROLL
key.
Then confirm the selection by pressing
ENTER
key.
4.
Enter the hexadecimal
code (
CODE CMD
) using the alphanumerical keys and confirm
by pressing
ENTER
key.
5.
Indicate to the TT801 which type of command code will be sent to the beacon
•
For RT6xx: Release, Pinger ON, Telemetry (Diagnostic), Other CMD
•
For AR6xx: Release or Other CMD (for INT/Ranging)
Selection is made with
SCROLL
key and confirmation with
ENTER
key.
The
DATABASE RX / SAVE
display opens.
6.
Select the type of the information to display (
RANGING
):
DISTANCE
or Elapsed
TIME
using
SCROLL
key and press
ENTER
key to confirm.
Upon completion of the operation, TT801 displays the message “
STORAGE
COMPLETED
” and return to the
MAIN MENU
display.
