Step Action
1.
Transmit the configuration by pressing
ENTER
key. The same transmission can be sent
again by pressing
ENTER
key.
After the acoustic emission of the command, the message “
RECEIVING DATA
” is
displayed on the last line of the window, until detection of the
CAF
(
FT0
) acoustic
acknowledgement.
On the TT801 screen will be displayed the response of the remote beacon with the
message “
REPLY OK
:” and the distance in meter between TT801 and the beacon (or
elapsed time in milliseconds) is displayed.
Should no acoustic response happened (or detected), the message “
NO ANSWER
FROM BEACON
” is displayed after a time-out (15 to 19 seconds depending on
command transmitted).
For a
Release
command, after detection of the acknowledgement of the “command
receive” issued by the subsea unit, TT801 displays the message “
WAITING FOR
RELEASE
” until completion of the operation. Upon receipt of the last CAF
(acknowledgement for the release execution), “
RELEASE OK
” message is posted up to
confirm success of the operation.
For
R Pinger
and
Pinger ON
commands, the TT801 displays the pinger rate:
after receipt of the last
CAF
acknowledgement (which confirms execution of the
command), the settings of the pinger receiver are displayed then the PFR receiver
updates the message “
RECEIVING DATA
” upon detection of the pinger frequency and
returns the pinger rate measured with the message “
PINGER Rate
: value in second”.
For
Telemetry (Diagnostic)
command, the TT801 displays the tilt (Horizontal / Vertical)
and the indication of the battery voltage of the beacon: after receipt of the last
CAF
acknowledgement (which confirms execution of the command), the message “
WAITING
FOR DIAGNOSTIC
” is posted up until the completion of the status telemetry. Then
TT801 displays the status message which comprises the Tilt of beacon (
VERTICAL
or
HORIZONTAL
) and the battery voltage (
Vbat =
value in Volt).

To stop the reception, press
HOME
key.
The main menu window opens.
