Before Use
CAUTION

Install the outer blade and inner blade set correctly.
Failure to do so could result in damage or injury.

When the outer blade is removed from the main unit, the safety function prevents
the inner blade from rotating even if the switch is set to “care” or “normal”.
Use of AC Power
DANGER
¡
Keep the power adapter away from water.
Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or shorting.
¡
This product can be used with the power adapter connected (AC power). For
more information about connecting the power adapter, see “Charging”.
CAUTION
¡
Do not use this product longer than 30 minutes of continu-
ous operation.
¡
Do not use the included power adapter to charge other
products; do not use other power adapters to charge this
product.
Doing so could result in fire, electrical shock, or shorting.
¡
After use, remove the power adapter (unless you are going
to charge the battery.
¡
The product might not operate normally if there is little
power remaining in the battery. If so, charge the battery for
about 1 minute or longer, and then try using it again.
¡
When using AC power, the temperature of the power adapter
and main unit will rise. This is normal and does not indicate
a failure.
¡
Due to the design of this product, the product cannot be
used even with AC power if the service life of the battery
has been exceeded. In that case, request repair (for a fee) of
the main unit and power adapter.
¡
Power is drained from the battery even when AC power is
used. Charge the battery about once every 3 weeks.
