3. Plug in and press the power/steam button (4) to position “I” or “II”.
4. When the water starts to boil, follow one of the following steps depending on usage:
Boiling water:
Press the power/steam button (4) to "O" to switch off the kettle.
The appliance
does not switch off automatically when the water has reached the boiling point.
Freshening clothes:
Hang the garment you want to freshen to a hanger. Do not place on ironing
board. Place the steam nozzle near the clothes and gently push it down. Move the nozzle up
and down by using some pressure. Do not place the spout in a horizontal or a reverse position.
Once you have finished refreshing, press power/steam button (4) to the "O" position.
5. Unplug the power cord.
Notes:
• To stop boiling before completing the process, press the power/steam button (4) to
position "O".
• Do not use the appliance when the water has run out of the water tank.
• If the water in the water tank is finished and you have not finished refreshing, turn off
the appliance and follow steps 2 through 5.
• Empty the water tank after each use.
Descaling
• Regular descaling of the internal part of the water tank will improve the performance of your
appliance. If the water tank is not descaled regularly the build up of limescale may result in the
following:
The appliance may take longer to boil.
The interior may be damaged.
Note: Failure to comply with the instructions cancels the warranty.
When limescale starts to build up on the heating element:
Buy a suitable commercial descaler.
After descaling, boil with fresh water several times and discard.
Clean any descaler off the appliance
– it can damage the parts.
Care and Cleaning
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
