Use of the Appliance
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. The power indication light (2) will turn on.
3. As soon as the appliance warms up, the temperature indication light (1) will turn on.
NOTE: Always keep the plates closed during the warm-up.
4. Once the temperature indication light (1) turns on, open the plates and place the toast on the
plates (6). The temperature indication light will flash sequentially during operation.
5. Close the plates.
6. Let the toast bake, depending on the type of bread, the filling and according to your
preference.
7. When you have completed the procedure, unplug the appliance.
8. Allow the appliance and plates to cool down completely before cleaning or storing.
• Some products, such as cheese, can melt and stick to the non-stick plates. Use a plastic or
wooden spatula to clean the plates of any food debris. Never use metal parts, as they may
scratch the non-stick surface of the plates.
CAUTION: Never touch the surfaces of the appliance while it is in operation. Use the
handle to open the cover. Special care is needed when removing hot food from the baking
plates.
Care and Cleaning
Cleaning the appliance every time you use it, minimizes smoke and unpleasant smell the
next time you cook.
• Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is disconnected from the outlet and let the
body and the plates to cool down completely.
• NEVER immerse the appliance and the electric cord into water or any other liquid.
• NEVER use chemicals and abrasive detergents, metal brushes or other objects that may
scratch the surfaces.
• You can wipe and dry the external surface of your appliance as well as the plates with a damp
cloth or kitchen towel.
• To clean over oil or leftovers use firstly paper towel, then wood or plastic spatula.
• Make sure the parts of the device that you clean both are completely dry before reuse or before
storage.
Carriage & Storage
• Make sure the appliance has cooled down before storing.
• Store the appliance in vertical position by locking the plates lock clip (4) or om horizontal
position.
• Store the appliance in a dry place without moisture.
• Never leave the appliance outdoors and exposed to rain.
• To move the appliance, use the original packaging or wrap it in a soft cloth.
• Store the appliance out of the reach of children.
