Installation Guide
STEP 1
Remove shade from box. Locate the following components:
3/4” modified truss head screws
(3x) - Use with washers when mounting shade to wooden surfaces such as window trim.
1-5/8” modified truss head screws
(3x) - Use with washers when mounting to shade to sheetrock.
Sheetrock anchors
(3x) - Use with 1-5/8” screws and washers when a stud is not present.
Washers
(3x) - Use with modified truss head screws.
Charger
- Included with wire-free rechargeable shades only.
Cable for wire connections
- Included with wired RF and smart shades only.
Pre-programmed 1ch remote
- Included with wire-free rechargeable and RF shades. Not included with smart shades.
Remotes ship with flipped batteries to prevent shade movement. Open remote and flip batteries before use.
Use provided hardware. Never substitute modified truss head screws with sheetrock screws. Call 844-543-4437 to
report missing components.
STEP 2
Ensure that shade measurements are as ordered and that shade will fit window as expected.
STEP 3
Apply a piece of painter’s tape to the wall or trim centered above the window opening where the shade is to be mounted.
Draw a line to mark center.
STEP 4
Remove back mounting plate from shade band by applying force to the spring loaded safety lock lever (located on shade
brackets).
Practice clipping and unclipping band from plate. A solid connection will be imperative when hanging shade.
STEP 5
Hold mounting plate over the marked line. Use the plate as a guide to mark center screw location on wall or window trim.
