Mount a Jelco Tonearm via Large Insert
The Large Insert that comes with your
turntable is for tonearms with a
diameter of 35 mm, like the Jelco
tonearms.
Note that the Large Insert has an
opening on one side that must be
aligned with Arm Pod’s Set Screw.
Align Holes of Insert and Arm Pod
Once Aligned, lower the Insert through
the opening of the Arm Pod.
Seating Insert
Next, insert the tonearm or the
tonearm’s base (if your arm comes with
a base) into the Insert.
Jelco Tonearm Base
Now use the smallest of the J.Sikora
Wrenches to tighten the Arm Pod’s Set
Screw through the Insert’s hole until the
Screw snugly secures the Arm Base in
place.
Secure Base and Insert
Finally, insert your tonearm cables and
tonearm through the Arm Pod and
secure the arm per your manufacturer’s
instructions.
This is an example of an installed Jelco
Arm.
